Majesty's Macedonian Wine Sales Launch Party
Macedonian wine? Delightful. Alexander the Great? Actually, tiny Macedonia, in the central Balkan Peninsula, is one of the world's oldest wine producing cultures, with a tradition that dates back to the time of Alexander the Great and was nurtured in the country's abundant monasteries during the Ottoman Empire. Today, Macedonia's favorite grapes, Vranec and Temjanika are some of the most requested wines in Europe, and now you can try them in Japan.
At the party, we will be serving a sample of Macedonia's finest vintages and the first four wines we are now offering for sale in Japan. There will also plenty of food, prizes, including some rare vintage bottles, live music and more.
1) Winemaker Selection 2009 (Chateau Kamnik)
2) Temjanika 2012 (Chateau Kamnik)
3) Tiver Vranec 2008 (Dalvina)
4) Muscat-Temjanika 2012 (Popov)
